Help me redecorate my kitchen!

I want to repaint our kitchen, but have no idea what colour to choose. The kitchen cupboards are a pale powder blue colour, with grey flecky coloured worktops, beige tiled splashbacks and white floor tiles. The walls are currently lemon yellow. Bearing in mind that we can't afford to do anything other than repaint right now, can anyone suggest a reasonable colour for the walls?

I tried Dulux's colour thingy and it suggests dark green, but the house is north facing and the kitchen is at the back so doesn't get any direct sun. I'm worried that a dark colour will make the room feel very dark. The ceilings are also nearly 3m high, so I don't want anything that will make the ceiling feel too low (if that makes sense!). Any thoughts?

I had a quick look on www.houzz.com for blue kitchen pix and very many of the ones with pale blue units have the walls painted a shade of white. I would use a warmer white such as Pointing by Farrow and Ball or maybe Wimborne White if you like a slightly whiter white. I also think Hardwick White could look good. It is really a beige and not very white but could look good with the work tops . I can't see where the dark green suggestion comes from. I would definitely go lighter, especially as North facing.
