The hell of waiting to hear!

Saw a house on Saturday, it just felt so right!!! Put an offer in this morning, apparently there are 3 others already so just got to wait. We have no chain and their first buyer fell through a couple of weeks ago so am praying this may swing it. Never moving again, it is just too stressful!

Ahhh I know how you feel! We are second viewing a gorgeous house tonight & might put an offer in. However it's slightly out of our price range so we're praying that they'll accept a reasonable "offer". I might be in the same position as you in a few days time though. Exciting stressful is good though!!
Hope it turns out well for you.

Good luck.

Once the offer has been accepted is when the hard work begins! It is all worth it though.

Oh good luck! We're going to see a place tomorrow which just dropped in price to fall into our range - they're desperate to sell. Houses rarely come on the market where we're looking for what we can afford. But I'm afraid they wouldn't accept us without a mortgage in principle already in hand. What do you think? We're 1st time buyers with a 40 percent mortgage, can move in anytime. I hope that makes us attractive.

MissMysticFalls · 06/05/2014 17:38

That should be 40 percent deposit! But that's good right?

Flossiechops · 06/05/2014 18:51

missmystic they won't accept an offer until you have an agreement in principle. We went through the Post Office for our mortgage recently. The a.i.p. was emailed to us within minutes. Best of luck op it's soooo bloody stressful!

Frustrated123 · 06/05/2014 19:08

Our offer was accepted!!!! Cannot express how happy I am. Trying to just enjoy this feeling rather than worrying about what could go wrong between now and exchange!!! Good luck everyone else, I think sometimes things are meant to be. We have been looking for over a year and its been a roller coaster ride with lots of disappointments on the way but as people kept telling me 'everything happens for a reason!'

Frustrated you'll have to do a name change Smile

Thanks, Flossiechops. I wanted to wait until we had seen our mortgage advisor to get the agreement in principle first but the estate agent wanted us to see it this week. I just hope the vendors hang on until next Wednesday to decide about our offer. I've been thinking about the place all day and would be gutted to miss out by a week.
