From the way they've piled stuff up on beds.

HarrietSchulenberg · 04/05/2014 21:53

I think they're tenants who are mid-move.

ohforfoxsake · 04/05/2014 21:55

Mine looks much the same today. But that's because I have a massive hangover.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 04/05/2014 21:56

I think the owner (or current occupier) is a proper full-on hoarder. Debilitating condition really.

As an aside, how can it be a "bungalow" when "accommodation is on three levels"??

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 04/05/2014 21:56

RoganJosh I agree

HaveToWearHeels · 04/05/2014 22:08

I can't believe they managed to take 18 photos, what a mess.

BiscuitMillionaire · 04/05/2014 22:14

Haha! Maybe it's a couple who have split up, and one of them still living there doesn't want to sell, so has deliberately left it like a tip. If it's the husband, he's either got a gf or he's a trannie.

MerryInthechelseahotel · 04/05/2014 22:17

Black bags = started packing Grin

jaynebxl · 04/05/2014 22:43

It's not an old person who died. Not with that bra!

ivykaty44 · 04/05/2014 22:59

Perhaps the bra was not worn by the owner but a visitor that got the owner over excited...

FoxSticks · 04/05/2014 23:04

There's a fire extinguisher in the kitchen which makes me think disgruntled tenants.

Fullpleatherjacket · 04/05/2014 23:08

I thought it would be worse. Hoarding lite.

Nothing a couple of skips wouldn't sort...

HeyBungalowBill · 04/05/2014 23:08

Bet that would make a gorgeous house when it has had some TLC.
I'd have it any day!
Do I get to keep the bra?

restandpeace · 04/05/2014 23:14

Its a nice house if a buyer looks past the stuff

Sigyn · 04/05/2014 23:20

think its obv tenants pissed off at being evicted

DillydollyRIP · 04/05/2014 23:20

I thought there was a dog gazing forlornly out of the window for it's owner to return but it's a stuffed toy -I think.

CanadianJohn · 04/05/2014 23:25

I think this is a "Daily Mail" ploy to increase the number of viewers. BTW, I noticed THREE vacuum cleaners... all in "unused condition", no doubt.

beaglesaresweet · 04/05/2014 23:50
Shock why take so many photos though?? they should have done the outside photos and the floorplan (which is missing!). I does look like it has been ransacked, maybe it was? Hoardres pile stuff into every surface tighly - look at these books in dissaray on half empty shelves! As if someone deliberately knoecked things or were sezrching for stuff during burglary. Or someone got into an unhinged mode (MH/drugs?)

I don't think I could buy this - the vibe is hugely negative, well beyond simple untidyness.

beaglesaresweet · 04/05/2014 23:51

oh my, sorry for typos

Aethelfleda · 05/05/2014 21:36

That's a little-old-lady house. It doesn't say no onward chain but My guess is there are either no relatives to tidy it and said little old lady is unable to manage and house is being flogged to fund nursing home fees. OR little old lady has died and relatives too upset to clear house and it's a private sale and house clearance firm will take away all the stuff when it's sold.

Either way, it's a sad look at 40 years of residence (the bookshelves are packed) :(

Devora · 05/05/2014 23:02

I got my house - in a very pricey part of London - for a really low price because it was filthy and hideously decorated. Plus the couple were going through a ghastly divorce and quite clearly had agreed to accept the first offer they got: they put the house on the market the week before Christmas, we saw it and put in a silly offer, they accepted - you only do that to stick two fingers up to your other half, surely? One of their kids greeted us by scrawling sexually explicit and racist graffiti all over her room.

I really love a bargain, but also like that however much of a tip my home looks, it will NEVER be as bad as it was.
