Definitely colourful and lots of plants.

Do you think tarzan lives there?

GiveTwoSheets · 03/05/2014 22:01

The bathroom made me go dizzy! I had such high hopes from the outside.

GemmaTeller · 03/05/2014 22:05

the bathroom Grin

Spinaroo · 03/05/2014 22:07

What are those transfers?? In the kitchen and then used again in the bedroom!! I do like the colours in the study, though Blush

GiniCooper · 03/05/2014 22:10

It looks like my SIL's house!
She had a glass front door and I swear you could see a green glow in the porch from the lime green wallpaper in the hall.

tigerdriverII · 03/05/2014 22:17

It looks a lot like my friend's house. She's always changing things and I always have to compose my face before I pronounce my verdict : usually "wow, this must have taken you ages!"

RedRoom · 03/05/2014 22:20

I see one giraffe in the living room just wasn't enough...

piscivorous · 03/05/2014 22:23

Love the garden

HaveToWearHeels · 03/05/2014 22:37

The garden is lovely, both front and back, that's what drew me too it.

What's with all the offset things on the wall?
I'm all for colour and being bold, but sadly I don't think the person who decorated this house as has any idea what colours compliment one another.
The sitting room in blue and yellow works the best....the other rooms don't work at all.

ShoeWhore · 03/05/2014 22:41

I was about to say well it's just paint and then I saw the diamond shapes Grin Hope they come off!

We got our house because it was painted all sorts of weird colours and apparently no one else could see past that.

pictish · 03/05/2014 22:44

Yes...the diamond shapes are somewhat of a theme aren't they?
Must've liked them.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 03/05/2014 22:45

Like shoe our last house was like an episode of changing rooms gone wrong. Just bought a shed load of magnolia and painted it all. Then gradually did one room properly at a time.

burnishedsilver · 03/05/2014 23:20

That look was so popular when we bought our first house 16 years ago, back when chancing rooms reigned supreme.

pictish · 03/05/2014 23:22

Remember rag rolling? I never did it myself, but I saw a few attempts at it in other people's houses. Never looked anything less than a right mess.

pictish · 03/05/2014 23:23

Dotto stencilling.

pictish · 03/05/2014 23:24

*ditto

Devora · 03/05/2014 23:32

Our house was ridiculously cheap for our overpriced area - at least £100k cheaper than others of same size and location. The reasons? Dirty, front garden fence kicked down, cluttered, period features ripped out. And the decor! Living room and all through the hallways: dark fluorescent orange, a colour I have never seen on any commercial paint chart. Kitchen: yellow (including ceiling) with scarlet woodwork. Bedrooms: purple. Lots and lots of orange pine.

But it only took a couple of thousand pounds to put that lot right. I'm so grateful most people struggle to 'see' a house beyond the immediate decor.

Devora · 03/05/2014 23:33

I'm proud to say I hated rag rolling at the time. And stencilling. And sponging. What was her name - Jocasta something - who made her fortune telling people 50 different ways to paint-effect your walls.

JustPassingThru · 03/05/2014 23:59

Disappointed in the kitchen ... it's so restrained! But hey, it's nothing a job lot of paint won't fix.

aneatercog · 04/05/2014 09:10

Lovely garden, both front and back.

You know what, while so many colours at once are not for me, it makes change from all the beige/blah houses around, and not all, seemingly, made so to be sold.

samsam123 · 04/05/2014 21:52

Hey whats wrong with my house at least its not boring white and my plants are lovely -some people have no taste

SpottieDottie · 05/05/2014 15:36

I love that house in Reading except for the stickers they have added to the walls. I'm feeling inspired :)

BMW6 · 05/05/2014 20:21

Sweet Jesus, My Eyes, My Eyes.............

HanSolo · 06/05/2014 00:11

Intersting- the sitting room has at least 3 different coloured walls... (red, yellow, blue) and you can only see 2 walls in the study- I would love to know whther the study is 2 and 2 colours, or if 3 or 4 different ones...

The garden is lush though, isn't it?
