Loft conversion in London quandry

Due to ever increasing house prices instead of moving we are debating whether go into our loft and have had a number of people round giving us quotes, etc. However it has now come to crunch time and I wanted to know if any people had any opinions or recommendations?

We have had quotes from Landmark, Simply Lofts, Absolute and Nu-Space. They all seemed much the same in what they do. Has anyone used any of these four?

We used Absolute and they were great. Added two rooms and a bathroom. Prob cost about 50k all in - inc lowering second floor ceilings, new roof, bathroom and decorating. Don't know how we survived without the extra space now - it's transformed the house as well as increased its value. You won't lose out by doing it.

Thank you for your reply. What the building process like? Did you have a dedicated on-site project manager?

Prob took 3 months all in for all the fiddly stuff, but we only moved out for 5 weeks. No project manager as the guys they send in have been together doing lofts for 15 years, so are good at letting you know what's what.
