Do you need the radiator for heat? You could turn it off?

It wouldn't be very efficient behind a dryer, and the dryer will heat the room up anyway....?

I'd take the radiator off... Even if it's switched off, the vibrations of the drier will go right through it and probably make a hell of a noise. Might even damage the joints in the pipes, over time, and cause a leak. But apart from that, it'll make the drier stick out into the room, and that would drive me insane.

renting. Can't remove radiator or turn off as it has no thermostat on it. I have placed it there for now but won't use it yet. There is a gap of 4cm between back of dryer and radiator so not touching. Would it be a possibikity to only use it when radiators are fully cold?

It doesn't make dryer stick out as it is a wide work top. There is literally no other place for it to go
