I am looking forward to a bigger kitchen after ext. done and want a BIG FF. I will have a couple of upright freezers in the utility too, but I want a fridge that is big enough for basically 5 adults as the teens are all adult bar one. My Bosch has lasted years and was big enough when they were small, but not now. I got the biggest I could from J.L at the time. With Currys brilliant ins on it, now a shelf, yes a shelf, can't be replaced they are writing it off and giving me a voucher for £600, I can spend it on anything so supplier for new fridge not a prob. Soooo can anyone recommend a nice big pref. French door fridge freezer as am going insane reading reviews on amazon and which!!

Fisher & Paykel - double doors to huge fridge on top and drawer freezer underneath. Freezer wouldn't be enough on its own but, like you, we have a freezer in the utility room. This is the bees knees. I very nearly bought a cheaper option, but fell in love with this when I saw it and pushed the boat out. Everyone here loves it to bits.

we have the Samsung G-Series (RFG23UERS), and love it.

in fact, we love it so much that we've bought it twice...once for the house we used to own in the US, and then again once we had relocated back to the UK and bought a house here.

well laid out interior, and massive capacity (~400 litres for the fridge, and roughly half that for the freezer), well lit inside, built in filtered water (thought this was a gimmick, but now the whole family and i no longer drink tap water), quiet, and reliable.

we are a family of 6, and the appliance more than meets our needs.

Thanks for the info, will check out both these options.

I second the Samsung. Have had one for 6 months, it's fab.

Though the children do tend to open both doors of the fridge and just stare into its vastness.
