Bathroom sink cabinet - not cheap chipboard but doesn't break the bank!

We are currently finishing an extension and have two bathrooms to do. I'd like to put a vanity unit in with the sink but loads of them look really cheap chipboard material. Any ideas of where to get decent ones that don't break the bank. I've made the mistake of looking at too many photos on houz of expensive bathrooms!

Unfortunately the cost of vanity units is reflected in the quality. At £600-700 they seem overpriced (which I think they are) but you only have to look carefully at a £400 unit to make one that costs twice as much look like superb value.

Ultimately, they reside in high humidity environments so getting a high quality unit is worth the spend. Else you just end up with blow units in 2-3 years.

I would highly recommend Keuco or Dansani for very well made units.

What do you want it made of? Solid wood furniture in a steamy room with violent changes in heat and humidity will warp and crack.

Was loving the look of the solid wood ones - but maybe not such a good idea if they will warp. I don't want to replace anything anytime soon!

Will look at the links above - and may explore some other ways on sneaking some storage in. I only want enough o hide a few loo rolls and cleaning products.

We used Duravit. Brilliant with different price ranges and finishes. I wouldn't look at any other make. You get what you pay for.

Have a look at the Ikea ones. They look almost identical to the more expensive types but are much cheaper. I don't think they look or feel cheap either (disclaimer - I've only seen them in store, I don't have personal experience!).

We have an Ikea Hemnes unit and it is FAB. Loads of storage and looks expensive. Can change drawer knobs too.
