We accepted an offer on our house on Saturday just gone.
Lovely couple first time buyers.
They had a mortgage agreed in principle and were able to move fast, until the lady said that she was moving jobs in 4 weeks time.
Now the mortgage offer is retracted and their broker is finding other options.
The broker seems confident that it will be ok, but say that the application can't be put forward now until she starts her new job so that they can present the signed contract .
I'm thinking my dreams of moving are quickly slipping away.
Should we wait and see?
Mh as anyone else had experience of changing jobs whilst moving house?
