Induction hob models

Seems that some people have complaints about beeping and easily scratched etc. If you have a model that doesn't beep at you all the time, has constant heat flow, rather than alternating between hobs, could you please give me the name of it. Thanks

We have a freestanding belling cooker with induction hob. No annoying beeps, heat is constant and perfect no hotspots etc.
It's about 6 months old now and no scratches, also really easy to clean.

Love cooking with induction. I would never go back to gas.

Thanks clargo, have an oven already, just looking for a hob. So many people on here saying they love theirs etc but not saying what brand it is!

We had a Neff one in us last house with 2 normal circles of heat on one side and heated rectangle on the other side (so you could use outsize pans and fish kettles). It worked well BUT it did beep a lot and turn off at the slightest little spill. Also their customer service is some of the worst I've ever come across (on a par with SKY).

I've got a Siemens that looks like new after 8 years. No scratches, no beeping & you can set it to simmer and leave it. John Lewis.

Mine is a non-beeping non-turning off hob but it was expensive. It's a De Dietrich DTI1053X but it will set you back £850+ (in my defence I have a beko dishwasher )

I needed zoneless, hence this one where you can combine two cooking surfaces.

We have had it just under a year and use it daily. We have boiled it over a few times when we first got it, but we were standing very near it at the time. So got to it quick and mopped up the water but it didn't turn off or beep at us.

You can lock it to clean it, I use an e-cloth.

I have a Miele induction hob. It is brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!!! Not a scratch on it. Easy to use, clean and locks/beeps very rarely. The zones are multi size so fits all saucepans/frying pans. It is very responsive and I would never want anything else. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for I think.

Current price for mine is about £1000.

Mine is fab and doesn't beep but it is a range cooker. The make is Stoves though. Again it wasn't cheap but it is by far the best Ive ever cooked on.

It is amazing how quickly it boils the kettle.

But I think it is not about the brand but how well you look after it.
It is not supposed to be a work surface with plates and so on put on it and moved about. But that is what we do.

If water spills on the control area it does turn off but it is easy to just wipe up the water immediately and turn it back on again.
So I don't think this is a problem - whereas on any non-induction hob huge spills of water are a problem.

It does not beep unless I set the timer.

I must admit I hate the way all the kitchen appliances bleep at me. The kids are calling mummy then the dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and tumble drier could all be beeping to tell me they have finished!!!!

We have a fairly cheap indction hob, a Whirlpool, and I love it. I'd never consider not having one in the future.

It did take me about 3 months to get used to how quick it is, which led to some boiled over pans, but no big deal. Not scratched so far, but I am quite careful. The beeping did drive me mad until I dug out the instruction book and realised you could switch it off

6 years old now, a tad scratched but I love it

Mine is a CDA, I've only had it a couple of weeks. It has a timer but doesn't beep unless you set the timer. I am struggling to get used to it at the moment. It goes from cold to burnt in seconds and is hard to get a simmer.
