Hi, Im wondering could anyone help me.
Im about to start planning to build my own house. We have the land but need to get permission and plan what we are building. i dont have a clue were to start. My husband is going to do alot himself and he knows alot of people in the trade. We are just looking to build as simple and as cheaply as possible. Do we need an arcitect? do we draw the plan ourselves and give it to them? Who do we apply for planning permission? How much does all this cost and what is the cheapest way to get to the planning stage. We dont have enough to finish the house so were hoping to even have enough to done to live in it.
