How do I put up this Roman Blind?

Hi

Completely clueless about this kind of thing. I have had a Roman Blind made and it has this type of top.

What do I need to do to fit it to the window? it is going inside the recess if that makes any difference. I looked on YouTube and can see an Australian video but it doesn't look very straight so don't want to copy that one!

Thanks in advance.

Ah, more google (thanks Channel 4 website!) shows it just needs to be drilled and screwed.

I take it this is a wooden baton and the blind is attached with velco ? If so you will need some of these obviously the right size for your baton.
Fix to the all first then place the baton on top and the screw the baton to the bit that sticks out from the wall IYSWIM ?
You can also use the brackets upside down so that the bracket is hidden behind the baton (so if you look side on the bracket is an L rather than an upside down L). Sorry not very good at explaining Confused

I find brackets easier than drilling the actual baton as those brackets can be adjusted to get perfectly level.

These are the actual ones I use. Use the adjustable bit on the wall. If you have inch baton these should fit perfectly.

Ok should read post in full. Screw the bracket to the back of the baton then mount to the top of the recess.
