Can anyone talk to me about selling my house with Tepilo?

I think this has been done before but wanted some up to date info.

We have a house for sale with a local agent and a rightmove listing online.

Prefer the agent to do viewings, can you do that if you sell through tepilo?

Is there any benefit from getting our existing agent to list us on there as well as rightmove?

I don't find Tepilo website very user friendly does that mean all buyers will agree?

Would love to hear your experiences.

Oops, hit post too soon!

We got no interest for months.

In the meantime, we sold it through an internet agent in a matter of weeks. Cost us £600 in fees, rather than the £4k an agent was going to take. We had to do our own viewings but it was worth it.

That's good to know. Not really an option for us though we don't live in the house we're selling.

I remembered thinking it was a great idea when it was launched and as I've seen it in the press a bit recently I thought it may have made improvements or had a surge in popularity but I might be wrong.

Ok, to be fair it was 18 months ago we used it, could be better now I suppose.

Well the website doesn't look like it's changed and I never hear anyone talking about it so I don't think it's changed much by the looks of things thanks for replying anyway I appreciate it.

As far as I know if you do it through tepilo you ARE your own agent, so you'd need to arrange viewings yourself. It doesn't seem to be a very used site though.

That's what I thought so if we're on rightmove anyway we won't gain anything by being on tepilo as well as I think people would check rightmove first before tepilo not the other way round.
