I like feature walls with not too bold a pattern on - I know feature walls were wildly Popular a few years ago but I thinking that's probably going to look tired pretty quick. What other options are there?

I wanted a feature wall and spent AGES choosing a good wallpaper - tip B&Q allow you to rip strips off their roll for you to test at home! Anyway, we got our wallpaper and it looked great. But then we knocked the wall down to allow for a new bedroom and now have a painted feature wall. I think I prefer the new painted wall. It's slightly darker than the rest of the painted walls. I think the key to it is what you do with the wall afterwards. We have pictures of all the family. Very homely :-) (Our bedroom still has a beautiful wallpaper. Still love it.)

I like a feature wall in a bedroom, not too keen on them in a lounge. Do what you like, it is your house, if it makes you happy that's all that matters.
