The house down the road had a for sale sign up the their front garden on Tuesday and it's still not on any websites, including the estate agents own. How am I meant to have a good nose and see what the asking price is if its not online?

Haha are you me?

The flat at the bottom of the street has been up for days and finally today has gone onto RM. I can breathe again.

I like to compare it to mine as a benchmark if I ever come to sell. It was going well till I saw a glass wall between the bathroom and kitchen (not even that frosted etc). I did Shock

Pipbin · 11/04/2014 22:28

Ok but it shows my street so dont stalk me!

WhatsTheWordHummingbird · 11/04/2014 22:33

pervy kitchen house

nancy75 · 11/04/2014 22:36

I would need a curtain on that wall, it is frosted but not enough to hide anything when the light is on!

stripeytiger · 11/04/2014 22:44

Just to say that we went back on the market in late Feb. (we originally put the house on the market last May and then came off in August). I checked on Rightmove every day to see if our house was on but when there was no sign of it after 2 weeks, I called the agents. Turned out it was a simple oversight on their part, so maybe just call the agents and check that they are aware that the property isn't on Rightmove.

Mrsladybirdface · 11/04/2014 22:48

Love pervy bathroom...made my night!!

Pipbin · 11/04/2014 22:52

Thats is odd. Is it to let light into the bathroom?

I don't think I'll call, that is too stalky.

I thought it was illegal to have a bathroom/toilet straight off a kitchen?

Pipbin · 11/04/2014 23:09

It was at one point, but that law changed. I have a toilet off my kitchen and I checked that out when we moved in.

OP posts:
WhatsTheWordHummingbird · 12/04/2014 06:02

Nah not illegal (ours was let out before we bought it). Though our bathroom is bigger (and has a proper separating wall).

Shame that flat has a nice kitchen in it!

Pipbin · 12/04/2014 08:08

I remember when my folks were getting an extension built, which was a kitchen and bathroom, they had to have a door in between the bathroom door and the kitchen door.
As it was the bathroom was off a hall anyway so no problem. The building regs guy said that s

Argh posted too soon.

Some people were putting two doors and then take one off after inspection.

That back yard is a bit dull!

Pipbin · 12/04/2014 20:30

It's still not on there. I mean seriously, not even on the estate agents website.
Houses on this street do sell quickly so they might have a buyer for it already.....

Pipbin · 13/04/2014 22:55

I was in town today so I looked in the estate agents window. It's not there either. DH thinks I'm nuts and doesn't understand why I NEED to know.

ihatethecold · 14/04/2014 18:17

I would need to know. I think you should ask them!

Pipbin · 14/04/2014 21:20

I think the house is empty though. I went past twice today and there was a car there but no furniture inside.
Can someone phone the estate agents and ask.
DH really doesn't understand.

sleepdodger · 18/04/2014 00:20

nosey what happened??!

Pipbin · 18/04/2014 08:14

Still not there!
However when I went past last time there were plasterers there doing their thing so I wonder if someone is doing it up to sell, has put the sign up for 'passing trade' and so estate agents can put calls out (very popular estate, houses sell here within a week), but will do the pictures once it's all done up.
