The bathroom is typical Victorian style with cast iron bath.
The wall tiles (half height) are dark blue glazed porcelain.

The floor tiles are currently kitchen style (have to go), and above the wall tiles is dark paint.

So first off, I want to keep the blue wall tiles. I will then repaint the upper walls in a lighter colour.

But what would you do with the floor?

I'm really stuck for ideas, but the beige tiles do not fit at all

How about limestone or travertine? Large format. You can get tiles that look like the real thing if the stone is too expensive. Or would wood effect work? I have travertine in my Victorian style bathroom and I think it works well - from Mandarin Stone. Or slate? Obviously you could have Amtico or Marmoleum but I do not think these finishes look very Victorian.

When you say you have kitchen style tiles, what do you mean? I always like Porcelanosa tiles too.
