How do I attach my headboard????

Hi - I have a pre-loved bed base from a friend (Divan type with no storage bits) and my mattress is pretty much new... so all I needed was a head-board. I chose a lovely metal one but for the past month it's been simply resting behind the bed, against the wall, as I have no fixing for it! It looks gorgeous there, but it's supposed to be attached to the bed obviously. Anyone know what I need, or what to ask for in a DIY shop? Thanks! x

Are there not attachments on the base to connect the headboard too? If not Ebay sells them.

I don't have a metal one but a fabric one so it has two "legs" made out of wood. It has a gap in the middle of each one to allow you to put through a massive screw with a plastic head.

Are there any fixing holes on the metal headboard?
