Mumsnet detectives.... please help with my kitchen

We've moved into a lovely new house and it has an ace kitchen. Only slight headache is that the previous owners had a wine cooler and took it with them. Fair enough. Except we don't want a wine cooler and now have a dirty great hole in the middle of the cupboards.

We want to get a cupboard door to go over it from the same kitchen range if at all possible(doesn't need to be a finished cupboard for our purposes) and we have no idea where it's from. This would be easily solved if the previous owner would tell us but they are slightly mad and won't communicate with us. Here are two pictures. I've searched online but there are lots very similar.

I'd say the colour is a light cream/ivory. I can't find any name hidden away inside on anything. Any clues? All help very gratefully received.

I googled curved cupboards and shaker kitchen...

It looks a bit like one Homebase do too.

It looks a bit like one we looked at in benchmarxs.

I agree - looks like Benchmarx - they do it in bone white, has curved doors. Is yours grained? I'm pretty certain theirs is grained. www.benchmarxkitchens.co.uk/Somerset/p/22221

You could Google a local joiner or carpenter... They cud almost def make you one that matches and colour match too?

KipT77 · 04/04/2014 18:53

Ooh thank you. I will investigate. Joiner sounds like a good plan and I'm going to pop into Homebase to see if theirs match too (we have one not far away so it is feasible it's from there).

looks like a generic Shaker style door like Second Nature Broadoak. I would unclip one of the smaller doors and take it to a few independent kitchens suppliers and see if they can check which colour it is as there are a few similar off whites.

If you look for Second Nature kitchens you can look up a stockist near you and they will most likely order you a door.

I had this problem once and I put a little curtain on a wire there in really posh fabric, then used it to hide my sack of potatoes.

Wickes do the same kitchens a benchmarx if you can get to one more easily!

Could also be a Howdens Burford Cream too.
