Well.........
Though I am wondering about the rooms they haven't photgraphed.

HaveToWearHeels · 02/04/2014 10:54

I just love the cuddly toy heads on the beam in the "grand hall"

I'm hoping it's all tongue in cheek...

I like that house a lot. The balcony, the South Wing, the big range cooker and especially the lion's head - but I am not sure about a suit of armour watching me while I watch TV. That's where I draw the line.

Onesleeptillwembley · 02/04/2014 11:00

South wing. Pmsl. I'm off down the garden to the shed and puddles annex and pool.

HaveToWearHeels · 02/04/2014 11:04

I agree SDT it is nice, a bit unusual (which is why I looked at it), It is just so confused, some rooms are just so normal, like the kitchen. While others are very, very strange.

I agree Have that's what's so bizarre. Real Jekyll and Hyde house. I wonder if the sellers are splitting up...

GrendelsMum · 02/04/2014 13:22

British eccentricity at its best! Wish I had the courage to label my shed as the South Wing of Rat-tat-tat Towers.

MillyMollyMama · 02/04/2014 13:40

Actually the belongings in the house are a bit odd, but get rid of the clutter and it is Ok. Lots of space and a decent garden. Estate Agent describing the kitchen style as Charles Rennie Mackintosh is a bit OTT in my view, but this is a decent family house with quirky owners. I don't think the rooms are that strange if you look at the floor plan. I think it is what is in them! Also it is the first time on the market since 1996, so it clearly has been a long time home, not a show house, for people with an odd sense of humour. Nothing that cannot be put right.

WillieWaggledagger · 02/04/2014 13:45

the toy animal heads and the baby photos are brilliant!

ScarletStar · 02/04/2014 14:24

Is this where Laurence Llewelyn Bowen lives? Grin

WillieWaggledagger · 02/04/2014 15:33

no this is LLB's house!

WetAugust · 02/04/2014 18:29

Owner has a very good sense of humour (I hope) Grin

LizzieMint · 02/04/2014 18:40

My OH would love a suit of armour! I love it, I think there's a real sense of humour at work.

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/04/2014 10:17

I was expecting a brace of pheasants to be hanging up in the kitchen. I am very disappointed.
