How long did it take you to find a house once you had an offer?

I think the viewer this morning may buy our house.

I have looked at a few now, none have been what we want so the search continues, however I have exhausted my list so far and the ones coming onto the market are not what we are looking for..

How long did it actually take you to find a house?

About a week. We ended up buying something we never considered. The buyer was in rented and wanted us out. He was also quite volatile (according to the agent) and we had two lots of people pull out so we needed to act quickly! Our sellers assured us they would move out too. We exchanged in 5 weeks and moved in 6, mainly because I hounded our solicitors and turned paperwork around immediately.
