Folding Sliding Doors but the handles keep breaking

bought these doors that fold and slide because they came with a 25 year guarantee and so far the handles have broken twice. Now I need two more and each time the company want to charge me . All they are doing is sending a new handle in the post... it's not like they are fitting it! they want almost £50 for two handles! surely these should be covered under the guarantee? without the handles the doors won't open ?!
interested to see what others think ?!

I wonder what the terms of the guarantee say?

Post a pic of the handles. There might be something better and/or cheaper on the market.

Here's a pic of the handles ! The website says they are supplied with a long life 25 year no quibble guarantee - but when I emailed them back to ask why they wanted to charge me and why wasnt it covered by the guarantee - surprise surprise - they didn't email back !!!

And here's the blurb - they supplied only as didn't have a fitting team in our area ....

And send a very short letter (not email) to the chief exec, headed "Claim Under Guarantee"

I think I will !! It's not good that they keep snapping - imagine that happening in the event of a fire and you need to escape! Blooming nightmare !!

when they pretend to exclude handles see the para headed "hardware" this seems to me to pretend to take away your statutory rights and has no effect.
