Commuter lodgings Sussex

Hi - we live in a commuter village in east sussex and are looking to rent a room out Mon-Fri to a lodger. Does anyone know the best way to do this? I have seen sites specifically matching people, but they all charge the landlord/lady and I would prefer not to go down this route. Anyone with any experience who can help, I'd be most grateful for tips.

Approach any large business and or local hospital?

so is gumtree.

but as always, be VERY careful. And remember to speak to your insurers first.

large companies I have worked for usually have a small-ads board where employees can put cards up. Maybe if there is such a company you could ask their HR to put an ad up? If they get assignees or new joiners they might like to keep a list.
