Moving house. Do I empty bedroom draws?

Yes, empty them
a) Because it makes the furniture heavier to lift
b) You may lose the contents

Leave the clothes in the drawers but take each drawer out of the chest (so you have a stack of drawers and an empty chest.) Saves messing about packing/unpacking then when you get to the new house all you have to do is slot the drawers back in again. Just stick a towel over the top of your knickers drawer so the removal men don't see ;)

We didn't have to empty any drawers when we moved recently, they just carried them full, including chests of drawers etc.

We are moving soon too and I'm emptying undies drawers. The rest can all stay in. Iirc they seem to carry drawers out but I defo don't want my granny knickers all over the place.
