Is it my imagination or are auctioned properties almost always over grotty looking or rundown properties? Are these worth looking at , at all?

Generally I think they are the ones which aren't selling or want a v quick sale. So it makes sense that there's a lot that need work.

ime the ones that end up at auction are the ones that arnt already snapped up by property developers - so great if you are after a forever home that you will spend maybe more eventually than you'd ever get back if you sold it, especially if its in the right location for you, and you have the funds and skills to make it fabulous, ...but not if you think it will make you a quick profit ! it probably wont !
