High Vaulted ceiling in bedroom?

New extension. The bedroom is a good size (7x4m including dressing area) but I've just found out the ceiling height is 4.5m.
This sounds ridiculous, but DH things it will be fine.
I'm worried I'll feel like we're sleeping in a warehouse, and how would we light it. We could have loft, but we have plenty of storage.
Any opinions would be welcome.

Thanks Mary, I'm not sure if we'll have beams as it's a new extension. Lights pointing to the apex sound lovely.
Do you know how high your is, 4.5m sounds very tall?

my lounge is 4.5m high vaultled ceiling - i used up lighters to colour wash the walls with light - looks fab ! and the light bounces off the ceiling, even from the lights on the floor ! - have the odd angle poise lamp for reading too - woudn't swap it for the world ! you do need a long handled feather duster though !!!!!!!
