We are buying a new house the 4th bedroom is 8'7 x 6'11. We'd like to use it as a walk in wardrobe. Has anyone else done this? If so how did you do it. Thank you

hi - am adding a link to a design for a spare room into a walk in his and hers wardrobe that may give you some ideas ? if this isnt going to be your forever home, i would suggest NOT knocking through - unless you really feel you have to ? sometimes simply adding a extra door in the landing that envelopes both rooms into the same area is all you need to have privacy for going from the master to the dressing room - then any future owners can always remove that new door and reclaim the 4th bedroom as a bedroom again if needed !

I love the pot of coffee in the dressing room Grin

I agree don't fully knock through, put a doorway in instead.

I did this recently with a company called Closetmaid UK they planned and fitted it - one long wall length of wire racks and shelving. Very economical and clean.
