What building regs/planning permissions/certificates should be available?

Looking at buying a house which was refurbished three years ago. It was originally a bungalow which was converted upstairs to form a bathroom with roof light, two bedrooms with two dormer windows and storage near eves. That involved knocking down of a wall downstairs to fit a staircase. New downstairs cloakroom was installed within existing building, as well as new radiators & central heating pipes, totally re-fit of electrics, new kitchen, front door and windows. At some stage there has been a 10ftx10ft extension on the back of the living room.

As we understand it the things that weren't done were the boiler (as about three years old at the time) and the roof.

Just want to make sure everything was done correctly.

Your solicitor should find all this info out for you. But if you haven't offered yet... dunno just ask them? No pointin them lying about it!

Actually the info might be available from the local council. Try calling them.
