Boring question, but I need to decide, and I can't!
It's a fairly small lounge with a single NW facing window, so quite dark. No original features (apart from good solid doors and windowframe) or anything else very special. At the moment the floor is a basic pale wood effect laminate, and I have no idea if/when that could be changed and what into.
Walls are currently a kind of cream shade, like a slightly more yellow magnolia, and they're not staying like that. My original idea has been that I want everything pure white, because of I'm sick of murky rooms. Furniture is mostly white or getting painted white soon; the couch will be pale grey - other than that I have loads of options with textiles.
I'm having second thoughts now. Before all this white madness kicked in, I've always adored green and soft pale green paint. DH thinks I'm dithering and we should go white (because I already converted him to that), as green would seem dark and we'd get bored of it.
Yes, this matters very much... (especially after reading the thread about boring houses all looking the same)
