Am doing 2 bathrooms from scratch. I'm baffled by the choice and prices.
I need shower cubicles, baths, vanity units, wall mounted radiators, loos obv, mirrors that don't mist up.

What did you save/spend on?
Any tips?
What would you do differently and why?

Good luck with it. Its exciting getting changes done. Makes a difference when you gel with the planner.

We have a compact and bijou family bathroom. Things I am really glad somebody thought about/suggested include:
-underfloor heating

  • dimming lights
  • seperate pull cord for the extractor fan (so the fan doesn't have to go on every time you switch the light on and you can use the fan without the light)
  • over bath shower screen that can fold into the bath or be pulled back away from the bath
-heating element in the (central heating heated) towel rail for days when the heating isn't on

More later....need to find a charger!

You can get a radiator with an electric element? I never knew that. That sounds very sensible.

Hi Dry how did your bathroom renovation go? We are in the process of a complete renovation and would love to know how you got on - did you go with plumbase in the end? Any pics would be much appreciated :)
