Worried about slipping on new stairs - anyone used Lidl stair mats

Am worried about toddler DCs slipping on my new stairs, I dont want to carpet the entire stairs and have just seen these. They seem like a cheap temporary solution until the wobbler stage has passed. The dimensions would fit my steps but not sure how well they would look. Has anyone used these or similar semi-circular type and been happy with them. TIA Thanks

Not sure it's just a wobbly stage to worry about! I slip still sometimes! You can get transparent grip tape for stairs.

Thanks TGH, clear tape sounds even better I just googled and all the products I found were US based, if you have a UK or European product you'd recommend I'd love to check it out. Thanks, FF

Furry, we got some of those couple of weeks ago and they work perfectly for us.

They have two strips of strong tape and just stick onto the stairs, ours have never slipped.

I have the semi circular ones and really like them, I did tack mine down as well though as this is s very busy household.

amazon sell this stuff

Thanks for replies Clargo and The Portly so glad you both like them, as a matter of interest did you put a staur mat at the top of the stairs where it meets the landing. My stairs is L shaped so hope the one on the step where it turns wont look too silly with an expanse of step behind it.
