What colour front door?

I'm thinking of replacing our front door and need some opinions on what colour to go for.

House is a modern (ish) estate property and has red/orange brickwork. I'm considering a Rockdoor composite door and like the look of the black and grey designs the most and I also quite like the blue. What do you think would look best?

I like the blue best. Black isn't as nice (IMHO) with red brick.

Black, I have a black door and I love it.

Black. A house along the road from me has the exact same black door as in the link, and it looks gorgeous, very smart.

Thanks for the replies, it looks as though black is edging into the lead! I think it does look very smart and classic.

I love the grey door, thinking of getting one from Solidor in French grey with a darker grey surround but the Rock Doors look great too...

I didn't know you could paint upvc doors, but someone near us has painted theirs purple. Really handy for giving directions in a monotonous houSing estate.

I would love a brightly coloured door but not sure it would work with the colour of our bricks. I think it would be too far out of MrAlwaysRight's comfort zone too

I dont know. I prefer the red out of those.

We've just got a replacement front door (Victorian) and it has green glass with pale pinky glass also, door is currently white, I am not sure what colour would look best with yellow brickwork.

Thinking of a very deep reddish brown. It's not easy. I would have dark red every time, really, but here we ended up with satin brown which is Ok but only worked out that way because of a can of cheap paint

I was looking at colours and came across a company called Solidor. I think it's a composite door again but they have loads of colours. they even do a purple but they call it "rich aubergine". I would go with Black if I was MrsAlwaysRight.
