House buying in bromley

I'm buying a house in Beaconsfield road, about a quarter of a mile from the Waldo road dump. Does anyone know if there is a smell? I'm really panicking now and I don't want to pull out, but I don't think I can live with a smell either.

Anyone? I would be interested in knowing more about it as well.
Does it smell a lot? Or it is tolerable? is it safe? I saw a house in The Avenue in Bickley and wondering if it even makes sense considering it.
