Hi

We own an amazing property in the very centre of Belfast and need to sell it urgently to release funds. We are prepared to lose money on the sale as the market is so slow there but does anyone have any ideas how to sell quickly ? For example has anyone tried a quick-sale firm they can recommend as Googling suggests we need to be wary. Or could auctioning it work better? Thanks for any ideas or advice. I wish we could keep it but we can't wait for the market to recover there

Have you approached the direct neighbours - as it could be an expansion opportunity for them ? Or if they haven't the capital to invest - maybe they would rent from you - so you dont loose out buy selling at a loss ?! But gain an income from it instead ?!

Thank you very much oneplan. We tried when they didnt have sufficient funds but perhaps we'll give it one more go (we'd drop the price it's been valued at considerably). It would be ideal for a solicitors' office otherwise as a very good address and space.
We can't really rent it as it needs some work plus we are trying to buy a property to live in.
Thanks for your thoughts Smile Maybe I'll list it on Gumtree too on the off chance someone is interested

Good idea ! Isn't there a 'we buy any home' type site - i don't know if they'd buy commercial property - but worth a look ! Good luck !
