Combi boiler in bedroom

Has anyone got a combi boiler in bedroom? It is serviced annually, and a CO detector is placed in the room. Is it very noisy and safe to be in a bedroom at all?

We have a combi in the kids' room. It's in a cupboard. We have a CO detector in the room (a mains one). It's not too noisy, I notice it most if I run a bath so tend to do that either before they go to bed or after I'm sure they're fully asleep.

No idea re safety but a proper gas engineer will only fit one in an appropriate roo.
I had one in a bedroom, previous house, I found it a pain, i.e. noisy, because if other people run water while you are asleep it switches on (obviously). also if you wish to use the timer for the heating the boiler will come on early before you want to wake up.
the other problem is that if it is in a bedroom where other people are sleeping you have to go into the room to change the timer (if required). Not a problem with small dc but teenagers or overnight guests may object.

Room not roo.

I guess it also depends on the people in your household and whether you have a lot of guests or not.

The boiler is in the master bedroom. If it's in the kid's bedroom, I think it will put me off buying the house.

We have one in a spare bedroom in a cupboard. It's v quiet, MIL doesn't complain (about that anyway) at all. It's brand new but we have a gas monitor in there to be on the safe side

We had once a boiler is a guest bedroom. Really annoying, noisy, takes space in cupboard and it doesn't feel safe.
