Wondered if anyone had any advice. The landlord that owns the house that we are currently renting has offered to sell it to us. He has indicated that this would be at a discount. As we have saved a deposit and want to buy soon anyway we are seriously considering this.
He asked us to get someone in to value the house as he doesn't know how much it is worth. Who is the best person to do this? I assume an estate agents, but am wary of getting them involved as I think the landlord wants to do the transaction privately.
