Help about to make an offer petts wood or new eltham?

Hi we are between 2 properties love them both but worry about schools we have a 2 year old and a 3 month baby! New eltham its on Dulverton School catchment area Petts wood is on Crofton any views on this schools, best place to live! This is REALLY HARD the schools stats, crime rate etc are really similar! Thanks in advance

My ILs live just down the road from Dulverton school. Its a nice area, good if you can walk to school. NE station is the last station in zone 4 on that line, so if you are going to be going into London regularly that is worth thinking about. (And if you aren't why are you moving to NE??) Its also convenient being in New Eltham because if there are engineering works on the NE line then you can get a short bus to Eltham station and get on the other line. Don't know anyone who has been to Dulverton school recently, sorry and know nothing about Pett's Wood. In terms of crime, having lived there 30 years my ILs have had something stolen from their sheds once. They do have a house alarm that they set at night, good quality double glazing including doors etc so are fairly security conscious. Equally they wouldn't still be there if they didn't feel safe. They have really nice neighbours and seem to know a lot more of their neighbours that we do. My cousins also live close - NE end of Sidcup just a few roads away and have been really happy with the area.

I don't think any of that is very helpful... hopefully someone with up to date info on the schools will come along soon.
