Will I live to regret it?

YES.
There is too much grout and not enough tile, and grout is inevitably porous to some degree, so water will leak through the tiles. Just don't do it. Get massive tiles the size of tombstones . I kind of hate the person who did our bathroom and covered it in mosaic tiles.

yes.
just think of all that grout!

That was what I was worried about. They look so shiny in the showroom though!

Shock How do you remove mosaic tiles from behind a shower? Do you have to remove the entire wall?
This rented house has them and water pours downstairs.

What about tanking the shower first? My sisters best mate is a plumber and I want to put metro tiles in our shower - she said to tank it first before tiling, then there's less chance of water in the walls. There's some kit I have to go buy for it with membrane and rubbery paint stuff.
