Recommendations for landlord's associations?

There seem to be two -- Residential Landlords Association and
and the National Landlors Associaton. : any ideas or preferences? I'm about to engage an estate agent (ARLA etc) but think I need to join a support/info organization if only for access to specialized insurance?

Any landlords out there to tell me of their experience?

you don't need to join any association to get the insurances you need. BUT that doesn't mean it may not be worth it.

will be interested to hear views from those who are members.

Oh I know re insurances: I'm getting quotes from my bank and my regular insurance company. Just wondered if anyone had any experience/preference for which landlord's association?
