Where to Live .... i'm confused :(

Hi Everyone
I'm confused which by no means is not a hard task at the best of times .....We are looking to move to an area that has under an hours commute into London. We have found a beautiful House at Horndon on The Hill (Thurrock, Essex) but the more I look on the internet the more I start becoming more undecided :( My husband also has to go to Norwich twice a week so something that is good for that as well. We have a four year old daughter that is due to start school in September and a new baby arriving in May..... and advice ????

Cambridge is 50 minute train journey from Kings X and about a 90 minute drive from Norwich. Might be worth considering?

Hi Nickie, try Brentwood rather than HOTH as choice of excellent schools both primary and secondary is miles better particularly if you are practicing CofE or RC. You will get a larger house in HOTH but it is a very small village. I would recommend To go back to HOTH for dinner at the bell pub though as it's lovely. Shenfield to LOndon LST under 30 mins Brentwood to LLST around 45m. Norwich easily accessible from A12 or M11/A11. Cambridge is lovely but v expensive to live there.

What about Maldon or Tiptree ??
