Had an offer on my empty house in September. They were buying to let. Has taken forever for things to progess.

Was meant to exchange last week. Buyer fathing around. Went to look at the property again this morning and asked for a reduction.

After various duscussions and more fathing, I have put the house back on the market and feel so pissed off.

Is this some sort of reverse gazumpting? The house has been empty since July. It is eating all my money.

Yes they are bargaining on you being so desperate to sell that you will reduce the price.

An ex friend of mine does it. He's a twat.

Be sure to get your solicitor to let the buyer's solicitor know it's back on the market - that might focus their mind & get them moving.

Prices are on the up in a lot of areas - you may find the gazunderer has done you a favour.
