Over flow pipe literally overflowing...,

That's it really! Our overflow pipe has been pouring out for the last hour or so - it's not just a dribble it's like Niagra falls. It goes on a conservatory roof so sounds v v loud.... Any ideas or is it a plumber job?? DH works away (not that he'd be any good!) and I'm not the most handy...

my plumbing is also fucked! have someone coming out about a leak in my downstairs toilet. Unfortunately it is built in so dont know how he will access it without ripping the place apart. Also don't know how long it has been leaking as I just opened the wooden access lid to double check something and that's when I noticed it was leaking.

Oh no ilovepowerhoop!! Hope I haven't jinxed you!! Fingers Xed you can get sorted too! No dripping here so far today but under the sink was like a paddling pool!! Hope we both are dry and leak free soon!!

its not going well as plumber has broken down on the motorway. Hope he gets here soon as I will need to get kids from school later and they are supposed to go to swimming lessons tonight after a visit to my mums

Oh no - funny I had to leave our plumber to it while I went to swimming lessons! Hope your plumber arrived eventually and you're all fixed?! Our drip is no more - apparently something wasn't set up very well and was too deep/shallow (??!) but my leak under the sink is more serious and needs a service engineer as its our boiling hot tap unit (apparently!) - waiting for them to ring back to fix up another appointment...and so it goes on!
Hope you're sorted before too long!

had to reschedule for friday as guy couldnt make it before I left for school/swimming. luckily we have 2 other toilets we can use (one of which had to get a seal replaced a few months ago)
