DH and I are considering relocating to a different part of the country. It's somewhere I've lived before but not for a long time and that DH isn't too familiar with.
We currently own our house (with mortgage). My question is, if we do move across the country should we buy straight away or rent somewhere to give us more time to look for somewhere to buy and familiarise ourselves with the area? I think it would make sense in a way to rent first but don't want the hassle of moving twice or to spend extra money on rent.
