We've just bought a property. Early 1900s, lots of damp, needs renovating, plus we are planning to extend out to the side and back. As we're having to strip the original house right back - floors and ceilings all coming out plus plaster off walls to sort damp- its an opportunity to think about putting in new economical heating systems etc. We've been looking at all sorts of ideas such as solar panels, reverse refrigeration systems, whole house heat recovery systems etc etc. What we need is an independent "expert" who can look at the house and advise on what would work best for this property. Allowing for budget of course!! Does such a person exist?
