Architect/builder in Chester area

About to put an offer in on a house but it's contingent on our plans being feasible...we're new to the area so don't have a little black book of contacts...does anyone have any decent, quality, reliable recommendations of a couple of people who might walk round with me and do a back of fag packet quote?

Which side of Chester are you? I'm near Northwich and can recommend a couple of people.

Westminster Park-Very nice! I'm in the area and can recommend a plumber, plasterer and a general builder. I'm afraid I don't know an architect though there are plenty in Chester.
