Aga conversion from 4-oven to 2-oven?

We've recently moved to a house with a 4-oven Aga. It's horribly expensive to run and overheats the kitchen. We used to have a 2-oven Aga which would be perfect; and the 4-oven model looks as though the extra two ovens are just bolted on, so our idea is simply to convert to a 2-oven by removing the extra bit.

However when asking Aga whether such a conversion is feasible, their answer is to 'buy a new one' (which seems to be their response to everything). Has anyone had a similar problem and solved it?

have to say i really can't see how you would do it… i presume a 4 oven has a bigger burner than a 2 oven? but if you changed that, then how would you stop it heating all the ovens? which would mean that you would end up with a luke warm age..
