Does anyone know if soundproofing systems work for a noisy neighbour problem?

I've just seen one online who claim to be very good, 'as recommended by Nick knowles' apparently, so, does anyone know if they do what it says?

Perhaps you have quieter neighbours or better bricks

Moving furniture to joining walls helps too - ie wardrobes etc as they absorb well ! ( not always practical I know - but worth thinking about if you can !)

Is it noise from next door or noise from neighbours above/below??

It depends

Houses can have shared 'below floor space' & attic space or there can be gaps at fireplaces and all the soundproofing in the world won't help with this - you'd have to block the gaps

Plus some sounds travel more than others & some sorts of construction let more/less sounds than others

That didn't really help did it - sorry Sad
