Anymore want to help design my living room?

Hello

I've got a mental block on my living room and looking for ideas to organise furniture, where to put tv and sofas etc.

The room has full doors at one end and a full inglenook fireplace along another wall, well not full about 3 ft either side is wall. I don't know whether to put the TV on the fire and have the sofa's either side but then I have a full wall with nothing on (opposite inglenook) and need to be able to get to the garden from the doors.

Happy to take a picture to share for any budding interior designers who fancy a challenge!

Oh the house is a modern build.

Someone on here the other day suggested to another poster to put their picture up under the discussion section on Houzz as there are lots of creative interior designers on there who provide fresh ideas.

I wouldn't put a TV over a large inglenook - I think it would look awful (sorry). I might have the TV in one of the alcoves either side but, as it sounds quite a large room, I might see if there was a way of creating two seating areas in the room: one smaller one around the TV and another one around the fireplace.

Thanks for suggestion the alcoves are big as its not a proper inglenook as such.

Oh good idea about houzz will take some photos and see how it goes!
