Garden Landscaping + Paving Court Yard

Hi

We have had a quote to clear our existing garden (most of which will already be done as part of an extension), pave the courtyard (approx 4.5 * 5 m ) and build some planters around the perimeter.

The total costs we have been quoted is 2800 + vat. The pavers, any planters material and plants are all at our expense.

This seems quite expensive for what it is. We are in SW4 London.

Does anyone have any comparable examples of costs they have paid?

Many thanks

Why don't you get three quotes?

Our builder has quoted as part of our build. Its a large extension and the landscaping has been a minor priority when compared to all the other issues to deal with.

I am loathe to go through the entire quoting process with landscapers, unless I feel like the builder has over-quoted. We really have enough on our plate at present.

Hence, why I thought I would ask the lovely mn'ers for their experiences.
