I'm trying to find a contemporary-style large (2.2m+) scratch-resistant dining table for our kitchen. The kitchen units are a mix of high gloss white and walnut, the work surface is white/grey quartz and the floor is slate coloured.
I like the look of Calligaris table in acid etched glass which is apparently hard wearing but it is well over budget so I was wondering what other options we could consider. We have previously had wood veneer and plain glass tables, both of which scratched quite badly. Maybe they were just too cheap though. Any ideas and/or links to possible candidates very welcome.
PS also would like to source some lovely dining chairs to suit the table, maybe in black or white leather if anyone has any suggestions...
