Can anyone recommend how to remove nail varnish from a radiator - my daughter has got purple nail varnish on one and we have the house up for sale! Have nail varnish remover but am worried it will strip the paint off. Any other ideas?

Nail varnish remover when the radiator is fully cold. It might strip the paint off and yes you may have to repaint. Use wire wool or a green scourer (with no water as the steel radiator will go rusty) to take off the shine and dirt, wipe off with white spirit, use a metal a preservative primer on any bare metal, finish with satinwood paint using a small soft brush. The radiator will have to be turned off before you start and left off until at least a day after the paint is dry.
